OUR SKILLED TRAINING PROGRAM
Rigorous On-The-Job and Classroom Training
The Boilermakers National Apprentice Program provides four years and 6,000 hours of training, including a minimum of 576 hours of classroom training and welding training before graduating. After graduation, a student becomes a journeyman and begins a career as a boilermaker. To date, the program has helped numerous students become skilled workers who contribute to New York’s quality of life. MOST Training Program
Our commitment to providing a highly-trained workforce nationwide is demonstrated in our participation with the Mobilization, Optimization, Stabilization, and Training (MOST) Fund. The Fund was established in June 1989 as a joint labor trust fund by the National Association of Construction Boilermaker Employers (NACBE) and the Boilermakers union. The mission is to provide boilermaker manpower in areas of need, to maintain a highly skilled work force, to maintain current skills and to train new skills and technology, and to instruct and teach safe work habits, not only for boilermakers, but for all who are involved on a project.

The MOST program allows the boilermakers to be a mobile workforce, sending workers to areas where they are needed the most, while maintaining the high standards for quality workmanship through the nationally standardized training program.
